saladboy21 Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 I'm getting the computer back shortly and will be testing these in a fresh game. So my question is, what playstyle works better. I am using some mods I expect it won't matter for (like tryouts and the sex talk one), but I will have most rape not using stalkers, and have pregnancy (which I want to have as a risk frequently but not be preg 24/7, though often enough to be sure to always carry belly friendly armor). I usually play a sneaky rifle/sniper character, but it occurs to me many enemies won't get close enough to make pregnancy and rape a regular threat, and those which do close rapidly (like mantises and cezadores) won't be able to rape to start with. I'd rather rape not be relegated to coyote encounters or dumb luck for humans, but I'd prefer to not use stalkers either. Would it be most...pleasing...to switch to melee (so rape can proc more often) or in actual play does rape happen enough it should keep me...interested...even if my courier tries to keep away? ETA: By keep me interested, I mean rape and pregnancy is a risk in most combats with critters who are programmed for such excitement, assuming they are not massively outgunned. Does not need to happen each time, but there being a risk.
hinugundam Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Here's The setting I would suggest hardcore mod on A not very power gaming courier Long - mid Ranged Gunner type(Project Nevada is suggested as it weakens Sneak a lot)
monolith Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 I used arwens realism tweaks and played a shotgunning melee survivalist. I win the first encounters usually without being molested. The thing is that with the medtech stuff, once you get wounded and wear a brace or bandages and stuff you slow down and can't keep the distance or run away. You actually feel very vulnerable limping through the wastes:) Reduce XP setting either with Project nevada or arwens so the critters are dangerous for a longer time. Though with arwens you get far less skillpoints and have to think hard where to put em. I am giving Imps more immersive Needs a try now. Its cool for survival but i really miss arwens medtech system.
