TURBODRIVER_WickedWhims_Tuning blocks running the game

Hey! I have downloaded the game with torrent, i think is an old version of sims 4 (2015). The game runs, but when i put in mods folder the "TURBODRIVER_WickedWhims_Tuning" it's not running! What am i doing wrong? When i put only the "TURBODRIVER_WickedWhims_Scripts" it runs and i can see it, but obviously the mod is not working without both files. Thank you in advance!

People here will not help you with pirated game.

 

But if the game you "have" is old then you have to look for WW version that is compatible with that game version. Newest WW will never work backwards.

Excuse me, i thought that i wrote it at the wrong place. Sims 4 is free now on EA games, but every time it needs an update, it blocks the mods until an updated mod comes out. A pirated game wouldn't have updates, but now i don't know where to find compatible version. I can only see the last two. Thanks for your response. Have a nice day!

And with game update breaking mods it's normal. Sims team often changes stuff that messes with mods, so mod authors need to do fixes.

 

So if you own the free Sims 4 base game then maybe reinstall the game from scratch (after backing up your saves and tray folder) and then download WW in version fitting your game version, put it in, enable both mods and script mods and test again.

It's okay. 

 

When Sims 4 game is updated mods are automatically turned off by the update. It's done in case a mod might cause gliches or bugs and destroy players save file.

While most smaller mods and CC might work well after update the issue is with bigger mods, that change more in game.

 

It's EA's way to avoid responsibility for bugs in people games. It's like saying 'you use mods on your own free will, we told you it might be dangerous'.
