Sleepy_Soul Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Heya SexLab folks, Got a bit of a straight CTD dilemma atm in regards to SexLab. The error only seems to occur during combat only. My load order is here, sorted by BOSS: Active Mod Files: 00 Skyrim.esm 01 Update.esm 02 Dawnguard.esm 03 HearthFires.esm 04 Dragonborn.esm 05 ApachiiHair.esm 06 AzarHair.esm 07 hdtHighHeel.esm 08 SexLab.esm [Version 1.15b] 09 SkyMoMod.esm 0A HentaiPregnancy.esm 0B Orc&ElfFix4TBBP.esp 0C Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp [Version 1.3.3c] 0D Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp [Version 1.2.4] 0E Unofficial Hearthfire Patch.esp [Version 1.1.2] 0F Unofficial Dragonborn Patch.esp [Version 1.0.5] 10 ColorfulLightsNoShadows.esp 11 Remove Interior Fog V2 - Full Version.esp 12 Batch Crafting Recipes.esp 13 DFB - Random Encounters.esp [Version 1.1d] 14 Potent Food.esp 15 RaceMenu.esp 16 RaceMenuPlugin.esp 17 SkyUI.esp 18 SaveHotKeyMCM.esp 19 ConvenientCrossbows.esp 1A Armor for Manga.esp 1B Craftable Invisible Helmets.esp 1C Nouserhere Ears.esp 1D hunter.esp 1E BarenziahQuestMarkers_Droppable.esp 1F betterwards.esp 20 Dual Casting - Cost - X2.0.esp 21 Dual Casting - Effectiveness - X2.0.esp 22 Spells Scale with Skill.esp 23 PotemaCrashFix.esp 24 Proper Aiming.esp 25 SC07SexLabRandomAttack.esp 26 Apocalypse - The Spell Package.esp 27 spelleraser.esp 28 AuraWhisperFriendsAndFoes.esp 29 FNISspells.esp 2A DeadlyCombat.esp 2B DeadlyCombat_GiantsAIFix.esp 2C Dual Wield Parrying_SKSE.esp 2D The Dance of Death - Ultimate Edition.esp 2E ACE BYOG.esp 2F ACE Speech.esp 30 ACE Archery.esp 31 ACE Armor.esp 32 ACE Enchanting.esp 33 ACE Melee.esp 34 ACE Smithing.esp 35 ACE Synergy.esp 36 TheEyesOfBeauty.esp [Version 8] 37 Skyrim 20 DeadBody Remover.esp 38 Skyrim 1 Day DeadBody Timer.esp 39 Skyrim 3 Day Respawn.esp 3A HPSoulGemBirth.esp 3B SexLabDefeat.esp 3C SexLabMatchMaker.esp [Version 4] 3D Bashed Patch, 0.esp I initially started with a re-installation of Skyrim trying out a few overhaul mods (i.e. SkyRe, ACE, etc.), so my initial blame started with them. However, after stripping them out of the game (and checking the Papyrus logs to confirm their proper deletion), the CTDs during combat is persisting. The only constant at this point would unfortunately be SexLab, and I haven't the foggiest as to why it would be happening, as TESVEdit and WyreBash aren't reporting any major conflicts between my other mods and SexLab. So now that I'm out of ideas myself, I'd figured posting here in case anyone may be able to give a few hints to determine the problem. Here's all that I can think of at this point: Would the 'no-error' / straight crash to desktop hint at a specific type of error? I remember getting this particular error when installing a skeleton improperly, for example. Does anyone use the ATTK program (used to be on the Nexus until it branched off to its own 'Game Booster')? I had great success with it previously, but the free shareware version could not be up-to-date with Skyrim's latest version. My character is currently pregnant via the Hentai Pregnancy plugin - would the consistent node updating interfere with combat / attacking animations somehow? Would a script overload make this error occur? My compy is getting up there in years, so it may be a possibility. I am using the below Papyrus .ini changes to boost its available resources. So after much mulling overs, 'f-ck it' moments, two pristine re-installations, and a main .esm cleaning, I'm thinking that the problem lies in Deadly Combat v4.01, or perhaps any sort of combative AI change mods, as the CTD only happens in combat. After disabling/toning down the Dance of Death and SexLab Defeat mods, the problem appears to have subsided, or at the very least minimized (haven't been able to playtest that long to get a definitive result). Perhaps in certain scenarios SexLab and Deadly Combat butt heads script-wise and Skyrim just nopes right out of it. Has anyone run into similar problems with combative AI change mods? I believe some have a reputation of unstabilizing Skyrim, but back in my Milk Mod days I ran with Deadly Combat averaging little to no crashes. ** UPDATE 09/20/13 ** With SexLab Defeat disabled (but not removed, so it's just inert), was able to get through the following without a crash: Run from Riverwood to Kynesgrove with Delphine. Fast travel to Swindler's Den to run over to Rorikstead. Fast travel from Rorikstead to Whiterun to advance Companions Quest. Fast travel to Swindler's Den to run over to Dustman's Cairn before getting killed by a darn spriggan. So with the almost equivalent of running across the map without a crash, I think I have my problem nailed down for now, though getting a solid week of play in without a crash will truly confirm it for me. Hopefully this tidbit of information can help others with their own problems! A shame I can't seem to get combat rape mods to work fine for me; had the same problem with Brutal Rapers in Sexout In the meantime, time to see if Dance of Death breaks it again!
