A question about 2k-4k-8k Clothing mods

I have a problem with a clothing mod where the clothing is 4096 X 4096 image size. My character can wear it with no problem, but when I equip it to an NPC, the whole screen is distorted so the clothing is spread all over the screen. I have to say that I only have a Full HD 60 heart monitor and I always set my games and games to 1920/1080. I've never thought about it until now, that the problem might be because of it and I shouldn't use such high-resolution mods. Might it help if I downgrade each garment from 4096x4096 to 2048x2048 because I can. Or is the size burned into the ESP and must be changed there? I would be grateful for info.

 

And then I have one more question. I saw an outfit from Melodic on LL today but just the photo, no download and I would like to know where to get it or if it's only available for Patreon? Thanks in advance

Monitor resolution or frequency has nothing to do with texture sizes. Your GPU memory size and bandwidth do. This sounds more like a mesh issue. One way to get what I call a hedgehog (ie. outfit is a spiky mess of polygons) is by deleting one or more vertices in bodyslide and saving the mesh. This for some reason breaks the vertex order after which all slider morphs affect the wrong vertices = creates a spiky mess.

 

The reason why you're only seeing it on an npc could be that the npc has/uses morphs your character does not have/use.

Thank you for the info. You're probably right because my PC shouldn't have any performance issues with a 32GB Ram B550 motherboard, Ryzen 5 3600 and an Nvidia 2060 12GB RTX. So you say it may be because of the outfit studio, because I adjusted all the outfits on the body 0 and 1 and saved them as nif. So I changed the meshes. Where Body 1 is my created body and works perfectly. And 0 that of the NPCs. The mod is ( [Melodic] Loveliy Lingerie - CBBE 3BA ) and the suspender body makes you naked anyway, maybe I should have only adjusted my body 1 and left the NPCs alone?
