Racemenu ctd with vanilla female races - but not with such races in downloaded save files ...

Hi guys, obviously a fresh install would be the best way to go, but I had to change back to my old rig - updated the old installation, everything seems to work fine apart from this- and no time left to spend again a couple of days to start from scratch, even more because I can play hasslefree as a female Lunari, Temptress, Akaviri, Nymph Girl or female beast race.

 

It is more an itch on my gamer me ? , Racemenu ctds when I change to Nord/Imperial/Redguard/Breton on a new game, occasionally it works with a downloaded save game from Nexus.

Sometimes I can even load old, cleaned saves, sometimes not.

 

I have re-installed the skeleton (XPMSE), AIO animated pussy, Racemenu, the whole SL program, you name it. I suppose I can also rule out issues with the prisoner clothes, started a male Nord, dropped the prisoner clothes, and changed to female...CTD.

 

So I am wondering now, can I perhaps shortcut by copying elements/flles from the working races - elements/files they have in common that is, but I do not know which ones - into the folders of the human female vanilla races?

 

You may have already guessed, it is a heavily modded Skyrim, 245 active plugins atm.

Certainly , this is not the problem

If you have Crash fix installed, it reports a solution . Open file and set UseOsAllocators to 0 . Go into game , create a character, save , re-active UseOsAllocators . It doesn't always work, however

Do you have some mod that changes the vanilla female head mesh? COTR or high poly head or something like that. Try disabling any mods that affect the vanilla female meshes and see if that works.

Thanks for this hint, as far as I can tell no, but I remember a mod installing or including high poly head or something like that, the info just popped up for a second, then it was gone...now trying to identify that one.

Your hint was excellent, true, I did not have any such mod, but installing one - enhanced female head meshes to be precise - did the trick, the female vanilla races work again.
