This thread will be for WWE 2K23 wrestling.  Please share modding tips as well as your custom creations here.  I believe everything uploaded is shared across all platforms.  We can all download each others creations whether they be appropriate or inappropriate.

Does anyone know how to unlock/make playable for CAW's specific entrance motions? Specifically Nikki Bella's i.e. the one where she rips off her shirt. It's stupid as hell that made it un-selectable.

There are only paid WWE 2K23 nude mods on patreon from what I've seen, thanks to all the idiots who actually pay for them since paid mods started popping up a few years ago

Considering AAA games take millions of man hours to make and millions of dollars thru to as much as 10s of million of dollars to get made

 

Just how much is an illegally made reskin worth in comparison for a game that costs maybe $60-$100 to buy a copy of? 1c? nothing?

 

And if the publisher sanctions them or makes them for them selves to sell, it means we are faced with bullshit micro transactions for micro amounts of work that companies like Bethesda want to use to keep milking us for games as long as they can after the initial sale of the game

So someone spends hours on something that enhances your enjoyment of a game you own and you are automatically entitled to it for free?

We were for many years yes! A bit of modding  is fuck all and was just a hobby for modders

If you hate paid mods so much, why don't you make mods and release them for free?

I would do just that if I knew how, but it isn't a hobby of mine, not that I haven't done things that I enjoy for free for other people

 

There are still plenty of free mods out there, the problem is that the paid mod situation is doomed, if you watch the video I linked earlier you might see that

That's pretty much the whole point. They didn't know how to either, but they decided to spend the time reading, learning and practicing until it became a skill. What's stopping you from doing that? You feel pretty strongly about it and you also seem pretty sour about the whole situation so why not do something about it?

 

You say it isn't a hobby of yours, what you mean is you don't want to spend your own time contributing anything. This is a hobby, but you want other people to do the hard work so you can reap the benefits without contributing anything while at the same time shit-talking people that value the time modders spend on this hobby.

 

I actually have tried and it isn't easy, so I have no problem throwing modders a few bucks when they make something I like.

Sorry for necroing this post but what you're talking about is simply illegal. One cannot modify a proprietary product and re-sell it, that's why the guy who make VR mods for games got threatened to be sued and had to drop his R* games VR mods. It is okay to ask for donations, it is okay to put people into an inner circle of some sort (mainly discord) because they donated money but the moment you ask for money, you are swimming in dangerous waters.
