Unarmoured in towns

As the title suggests, not being allowed to carry weapons or wear armour in towns. I tried looking for a mod for this but can't see one, I'm sure someone will have made one tho, right?

If not, here is my thoughts on it, I've never made a mod for Skyrim before but how hard can it be? I'll give it ago myself if one doesn't exist.

Ideally the guards would stop you as you enter and forcefully strip you of your armour and weapons, maybe if you have high sneak you can sneak a dagger in like the Casinos in Fallout New Vegas how you can sneak a small weapon in.

Being the Thane of the hold, or in good standing with the Jarl or the guilds would give you a writ of passage allowing you to carry weapons. Sneaking in would stop you having your weapons taken away but if you have them equipped guards inside will ask to see your writ and if you don't have one take your weapons and/or lock you in jail for a day.

You can bribe the guards to let you have the weapons, either with gold or favours, or maybe doing work, ties into S.L.U.T.S or other mods like that, doing work gives you a one time use writ.

Oh yeah, I think I've used that before, does it have the option to not allow them in cities as well as everywhere? I wanna be able to use a weapon outside of cities easily.

I'll have a play around with it after Easter when I'm back at my computer

If you do it through licences your equipment will be confiscated, so while in the wild you could use whatever you want (including magic if you somehow get out of the cursed collar) you'd need to find equipment or have like a stash that won't be stolen from by SL survival npcs raiding stashes feature. You could also just use guards being triggered by armor, its runs independently to licences, they could also be on, or off, its just guards will pester you if you have armor on. It should include punishments for that, not 100% sure as I didn't use the armor toggle before (by default its off).
Same guard trigger is gonna react to you waving your weapons around, dropping weapons or armor, shouting etc.  there are some punishments for repeated offenders.
