Will55 Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 Desperation here, as NifSkope seems impossible to persuade to work. In the Tawoba Ebony armour section, there is an ebony skirt which I use on all younger woman in SSE. (I guess I still have that teenage miniskirt fetish ) But I want to make it available in a blatant hot red colour for those who are to become hookers as the skirt in black clashes severely with the remainder of their outfits. I have duplicate Tawoba files so I wont lose the original. Can anyone suggest how to do this? I have watched 3 youtube videos but nothing they advise works. It is not crucial, just annoying and a far too large time sink so far.
Tlam99 Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 Use outfit studio and remove what you don't want and recolor it.
bnub345 Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 You want to change the texture, not the mesh. Look for the .dds file that is linked to the part of the armor you want to recolor. If you aren't sure what part of the texture is the skirt, you can check the UV map in some 3D editing software - OutfitStudio works, as does Blender or 3dsmax. To change the texture, you need some photo editing software that can open .dds files - paint.net and GIMP, or photoshop if you have that.
