Tensu_Makadi
Ok so all of a sudden my stamina just stopped regenerating. No new mods was working fine then about 3 hour later and only auto saves, that ended up over writing themselves before I realised I was screwed, inbetween regular saves later... I mean it is not that bad I was only messing around for about an hour and a half no real loss right, except now even when I load a save from before it got all screwy it starts out fine but fast travel or enter/exit a building and there goes the stamina regen. I have checked with console commands and my staminarate doesn't seem to be the problem as depending on the save it is set at defualt or .5 higher, or at least what I assume is defualt. I mean I'm assuming a bad script somewhere did this but does this mean I'm going to have to delete all my saves and start over or what? Link to comment
Tensu_Makadi
And after deleteing 5 saves I decided to load one I hadn't messed around with at all after getting this issue and poof no more problems so far after rushing to about where I was, still have 1 more quest to complete and then the quest that I was half way through before I noticed I had the issue, the bug hasn't reared its ugly little head again. I did some playing around with any and all mods that I think could have caused this and still nothing. I have no idea what caused this nor why it seemed to go from what was once one clean save to another but I seem to have chased off the little gremlin now to by some bells. (Don't know this referance look up gremlin bells) Link to comment
Shaydow
Are you doing Dawnguard / are a Vampire? ( maybe your turning into a vampire with dawnguard installed and not noticing? ). Remember one of the drawbacks of being a dawnguard vampire is during the day in the sun your health and stamina no longer regen. Just a thought. Link to comment
MikeMetal
Open console, target yourself and type getav staminarate. I'm positive the number given will be 0 or less which basically makes you "regenerate" 0 stamina each second. The default value is 5 so you could set it back with setav staminarate 5. Or if this doesn't work use modav staminarate X until you reach 5 value, like for example if it is 0, modav staminarate 5 which adds +5 to the value number. Link to comment

ForceAv sets the value without having to add. If he has a value of 1000, forceav 5 will set it right to 5, whereas modav 5 would set it to 1005. ModAV is for adding to, ForceAV is for straight setting. You learn something every day *edit* and in case your NOT a vampire and do need to do the described above, the actual console command would be : player.ForceAv StaminaRate 5 Link to comment

Was going to suggest to use this if he couldn't get to work the other 2 options as they're safer. Link to comment

If you have say 50 archery, you can use player.setav archery 15 to go back to square one. Link to comment
DissocialPersonality
I got a problem similar to this I was fighting and at the end of the fight my stamina would not regenerate I think it was due to a kill move being used without stamina Link to comment

Remember one of the drawbacks of being a dawnguard vampire is during the day in the sun your health and stamina no longer regen. Just a thought. I'm possitive I wasn't a vampire and this doesn't explain why after loading a save at almost the begining of the game before I ever made it to riverwood the first time it resurfaced as soon as I changed cells or whatever, entered the river wood trader Open console, target yourself and type getav staminarate. In this statement I'm assuming default to be 5.00, thank you for confirming... Now I have fixed this as far as I can tell as I said in my second post simply by deleteing the 5 saves I some how corrupted and the original corrupt save but what was causing this and how to possibly avoid it in the future other then keeping a bunch of saves is currently beyond me.
