RushTX Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 Hey all - My addiction to TS4 and WW is calling....LOL But I'm patiently waiting for that big update. In the meantime, I would love to still play and do other things (like work on my sims' Aspirations, Relationships, etc. Not to mention check out the new infants. Is there any way to disable WW while waiting on the update, but still not lose anything? Do I just remove the WW folder from mods? Will I still have my same playlists when it updates? I have a LOT of playlists, which would be VERY difficult/time consuming to remake (I didn't write anything down). Just wondering. Thanks. Rush
Chutney69 Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 I've been wondering the same thing. I think it should be ok to play on for a while without the mod but I don't know for sure. I only started playing a couple of weeks ago so this is pretty new to me too!

You can play without ww in a different save, but if you save in your current "save" after removing it you will lose everything "wicked whims" related. It is the same with any other mod, any trait, aspiration, object etc... added by the mod will be gone even if you, later on, add the mod back. So YES, it is ok of course to play without the mods (as scary as it is ?) but NO "modded" stuff will not stay in the game when you put the mods back, it will be gone if you save the game while having no mods. I hope the explanation is clear enough ? 1
