How to start a big orgy animation?

I have couple of animation that can have up to 8 sims. But once I reach a certain number of sims (I believe 5 was the max) It won't let me add anymore sims to the animation.

 

Am I not doing something right? 

I can only select up to 5 sims as well whenever I try to start an animation.

Do you have the manual settings turned off ? You need to disable the arbitrary override option.

 

Each individual must have the option of "off. Off... or he won't listen.
