Morvin Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 (edited) As said, I purchased and installed the GOG version of the game. Also installed SKSE for it (seemingly correctly as it shows when I open the ingame menu). I have NO other mods (except those which came with Skyrim (fishing, survival mode etc) installed other than SkyUI 5.2 via MO2. But no joy so far. The UI stubbornly sticks to vanilla. Is there a secret box I must check/uncheck, a magic word or just something I have to do for SkyUI to work? Thing is, without SkyUI modding this game is more or less a non-brainer for me and if there's one thing I learned about playing Bethesda games is that vanilla is not the flavour I wanna go. P.S.: Thanks in advance. Edited March 6, 2023 by Morvin

Morvin Posted March 6, 2023 Author Posted March 6, 2023 Thanks for the reply, but you're two steps ahead: I'm not even close to even think about installing sexlab, yet. SkyUI is the only mod installed so far and I don't get any changes in the UI. Unless I get that running I see no point in trying to start serious modding.
Morvin Posted March 7, 2023 Author Posted March 7, 2023 OK, found what caused the issue: Seems like MO2 was using the game_skyrimse.dll for Steam. After copying the correct version into the MO2 from Nexus SkyUI suddenly seems to work now.? Now for some boobies!!
