ENB shader caching is not working

SOLVED 

enb caching not working is normal as it has been disabled recently (10 february 2023) http://enbdev.com/news.html

The "ENBSeries is compiling shaders, please wait" screen takes about 1 minute every time. The enbcache folder remains empty despite having shader cache enabled in enblocal.ini, steam and nvidia control pannel (I tried cache size "driver default" and "10gb"). I think caching is not working, which results in having to recompile everything everytime. ENB GUI is working fine, I can make changes and save them and load them.
