traison Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 ERROR_MOD_NOT_FOUND 126 (0x7E) The specified module could not be found. And that has nothing to do with game mods. Its refering to windows process modules. You're probably missing address library.

traison Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 (edited) Just because vortex says everything is up to date does not mean all mods are compatible with eachother, nor that all dll plugins or skse are compatible with the current game version. The address library mod contains bin files, one for each supported game version. If your game version does not have a bin file, I'd assume it is not compatible. Anyhow, since you apparently didn't even get a CrashLogger.log (log output from the dll itself, not a crash log) it pretty much means it got nowhere in loading that plugin. It might have stopped early on somewhere in the crash logger plugin itself, or SKSE itself failed to load the dll. I don't see any obvious cases in the crash logger's source code where it would fail with a 0x7E before it writes "installed crash handlers" in CrashLogger.log; so I'm leaning more towards SKSE and this being some version dispute between the game, skse and crash logger (and its requirements). Like, I know you're trying to load SexLab sslAnimationSlots 2000 SE but I don't see the fix loading in skse64.log, SrtCrashFix64.dll? This alone can cause people crash nightmares. Not everyone needs it, but I can't know this, so I have to ask. If it's not something simple, like that? My best guess is it's one of two things: 1) You had a working install, then got the idea to install more or update some stuff... mid-game. And broke it. You then ran LOOT (probably more than once) trying to fix it, and made it worse. 2) You are letting Vortex install SKSE, an important thing I would install manually, and something isn't configured right, or as traison says, it's extracting an older version in it's dl/cache directory and now you can't run anything, because that's way too fucked up to do anything except disable all mods! Script Extender plugins are not supposed to step on each other, but if you rename the dll modules in SKSE\Plugins\, you can control their load order, as they load alphabetically; like prefacing everything with 00, 01, etc. If you want to make sure CrashLogger started first, or that all the working ones do, before the can't-find ones try. That SKSE cannot find version numbers in the .dlls? That's bonkers! Start there. Please get SKSE working first and foremost. Also? That is a strange order for LOOT, minus the AE CC content; LOOT usually prefers .esm > .esp > .esl, Do you have mod sets or some locked positions in your mod manager? (You are aware that disabling / enabling any mod that takes a slot, changes load orders, and that even updating an existing working mod, can drive people crazy trying to undo it when the crashes start.) You say you tried a new game and that "still don't work" - please describe exactly, since I know you are using translation software - *exactly* what does happen. Normally if it's going to break? It will either break before you get to the menu, the game launches and then crashes before you can do anything, or the game will load, and sit there fine, initializing... but trying to load a save crashes you out, but new game... well this is what I want to know - what exactly happens? A lot of the SexLab stuff doesn't initialize until the game is actually running, see, and that will help us know what's causing the crash. So please be detailed and specific! Happy hunting!

With many active mods and your propensity to not pay attention to details? What's ~250G of SkyrimAE backup storage vs. days, week(s) of troubleshooting and frustration? Back it up, Back it all up. The mod manager, the settings, the game itself, the mod downloads, all of it. (Even the saves if you want, but remember saves to a mod user are practically disposable.) Snapshot backup your whole system, even, to a USB3 drive overnight, what's a 12Tb-16Tb USB3 cost these days, $200usd?. Windows is handy for stuff like File History revision backups, too.
