Neck seam.... HELP!

Recommended Posts

In my very limited experience, the only way to avoid the seam is to use a full texture set/normal map that comes from the same author. The seam is going to appear as soon as you use a different element:

1. An alternative face texture, including lip enhancement;

2. An alternative incomplete normal map that only affects certain parts of the body, for example muscle/sweat maps that don't have matching portions for the hands and head (Very common).

3. Mods, including fixes, that force certain characters to use a mix of custom/default texture/normal maps.

4. The infamous new headmesh/texture system implemented by Bethesda for the Vampires with the Dragonborn DLC. I really never understood how to fix this one.
