Have you checked if you can start AAF scene manually? (Home -> Enter)

If no, I had a similar problem which was caused by installing wrong version of one of the animations (Brave or BP70)

im having a similar issue, all dialouge options and prompts are working, the home button works, but none of the animations will list, or load, even though they say they are loaded in game. But cantt get aaf to start any animation.

Having the exact same issue... feel like I've tried everything and still can't get it to work... Tried reinstalling base mods, starting a new game without any other mod, updating every possible thing... nothing. The game runs smooth asf, but for the love of me I can't figure out why just this isn't working. Never happened before to me either.

Assuming everything else has been done correctly; in my case it was an incompatible/borked .xml in UAPv2.6.63 for Mutated Lust (I'm using v1.4) support. It's been a long time since I've played with any AAF .xml files, so I couldn't tell you where or why there is a problem, but disabling support for it in UAP solved my problems. If you haven't already, you should enable the AAF debug .esp and then change over to admin mode instead of scene, that will give you a lot more information on what's happening under the hood.

Can confirm animations do load when you disable animation support on UAP installation, so it definitely has to do with that. Have no time to test more than that for now though.

Thank you! I will try disabling animation support on UAP

Edit: that was indeed the problem and it entirely fixed my issue! thank you so much!

Your welcome!

Information dump below for anyone curious about the issue.

After spending some time looking through the Mutated Lust Support forum; it would seem that those of us in this thread are the odd ones out. Updating to v1.4 does indeed break the UAP patch for it, however, the symptoms appear to vary greatly. The people there couldn't get their AAF to even install, aborts at 68%, usually an incompatible/misconfigured xml if I'm remembering it correctly. In our cases, AAF installs and seemingly works, but won't play any scenes; for me, it would timeout searching for valid actors; with the debug error list filled with Position Node Not Found errors for all of the animations in Mutated Lust. The only thing I can think of is that the naming conventions changed between 1.3 and 1.4.

That said, UAP isn't actually overwriting anything in the xml's themselves, at least not as far as v2.6.63 and v1.4 are concerned. So it should just be pointing at xml's that no longer exist; and then AAF's default behaviour(I think) should be to remove the animations in question and then continue on its way; but for some reason its not.

Until Ulfberto gets some time to update UAP, a person can simply stay on 1.3 (as is indicated in the guide), disable UAP Mutated Lust support if using 1.4, or if you have the time and know how, update the xmls in question yourself. Make backups and be cautious if editing the xmls yourself, one miss placed quote, comma, or bracket can break the xml and AAF if you mess up badly enough.

Thank you so much for the info and research.
