What other mods you have? One mod that can cause that bug is an outdated Nisa. If you have it update it or remove it temporarily and try again. It could also be other things. If you have mc command or better exceptions you can upload a lastexception from those mods instead, or a system info log from mc command, it could help to find the problem.
