Help with Kinky Mod

Kinky world on my friend's computer isn't working right. After the sim asks the other person for sex, they walk to the bed but then the action square in the corner fades away and they continue doing other things instead of proceeding with the animations. He has all the animations installed, etc. 

 

Could anyone help identify how to solve this issue?

I have had that problem before, I usually start with replacing the bed and trying again. If that doesn't work, I will reset my sim. Has fixed the problem for me,
