Question regarding the Player trait

So I've noticed when a married sim without the player trait gets caught by their spouse having sex with a sim that has the player trait the spouse does not react negatively at all. I've tested the normal woohoo interaction and the spouse gets angry as usual so I know this is particular to wicked whims. I've made sure that the jealousy settings are enabled and that none of the sims have any wicked attributes so does anyone know why this is occurring or is it intended to be this way?
