Can't unzip the Tuning file

With this new update I've unzipped the scripts file fine but no matter what software I try none of them can unzip the tuning file, any suggestions?

Yes, the suggestion is DO NOT unzip the scrip or the tuning file. 

You unzip the download, that is a zip file. The scrip and the tuning file must be as it is to work, you do not need and should not do anything with those two files other than place them in your mods folder. 

And that applies to every mod for the sims 4. 

If your question is what can you use to "open" the tuning file and see what is inside you could use for example sim4studio, but that is neither required nor recommended.
