Rabblerouser Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 In this thread, it mentions using FOMM to install EVERYTHING. Now, I've been using FOMM for a while, but still only know how to install FOMODS. It's the only FOMM-exclusive thing I know how to do, aside from checking and unchecking esm's and esp's to "install" and "uninstall" them. Now what happens if a mod comes by that gives me just a "Data" folder with Meshes, Textures, Sounds, etc packed into it? How can I possibly use FOMM to install that in a more modular, undoable manner?
Ark of Truth Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 - Open FOMM - Go to Package Manager - Where it says "Add FOMod" select the little arrow and choose "Create From Folder" - Target the folder containing the Meshes, Textures etc - Select "OK". - Wait while it build a FOMOd for it. - When done actvatie the package - Start the game - Profit
Rabblerouser Posted August 20, 2013 Author Posted August 20, 2013 Will it take esp's and esm's as well? Trying to install "Pipboy 2500" right now as practice.
Rabblerouser Posted August 20, 2013 Author Posted August 20, 2013 Ah! Thank you so much. I've already, unfortunately, added a lot of mods the drag-and-drop way. But should I reinstall, I'll be sure to keep this in mind. Again, thank you!
Ark of Truth Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 If this fixes the problem for you don't forget to hit "Mark Solved" on the post which SOLVED the problem. In this case if it works post 2.
