DEAD OR ALIVE 5 LAST ROUND MODDING HELP

Hello once again, looking for help right now An I don't seem how to use the tools that help with just doing simple stuff. Please can some one help me pretty please. My discord is AngelQueen#4040, please i want to learn how to make my own mods.

Look, there is no hand holding in game modding, so I doubt anyone will take the time to connect with you at Discord and teach you step by step.

Sorry if this sounds a "blunt" comment, but it will save your time.

 

You said you don't know how to use basic tools. Below there is a post which talks about modding, including DOA5LR. It's a quick read, and then link to the basic tools for modding the game, each one having its own tutorial written by myself:

If you can complete the leaning sequence I've put together for the tools, it will probably be the best start you can get, and a much faster leaning curve than most of us had.

I  myself started modding in 2019, and the first mod I did was using only Photo Studio, and TimmyC Transformer Tools. This mod:

After leaning the basics, have a look at the tutorials I've collected along 3 years of modding:

Finally, one important thing.

You said there are mods you want to do for yourself, so you probably have things in mind. This is good, as it will keep pushing you forward.

Learning to custom mods for dead or alive 5 last round, that is why im here asking an it's like one person cannot tell me if im doing something wrong or right. I have pictures to show here an nothing will come out of it.

You are going to have to be specific and clear about what problems you are having if you want people to be able to try to help you on here. Also like Ayanekunoichi said, you really cant expect anyone to personally hand hold you step by step on the modding process since there are a lot of things to it and no one would really have the time to explain and show every single thing. I am kind of new to doa5 modding too( I have only been doing this for like maybe 8 months) so I understand the struggle of trying to learn everything but you are unfortunately going to have to really try to learn on your own using resources other modders provided like written tutorials as well as doing your own research on things, this is mostly what I had to do to learn what I know. Like I said, people can help you on here too with some things but you need to be very clear on what you need help with.

What exactly are you trying to do? Can you share information and pictures here?

Let's have a look, and try to understand what kind of knowledge you are missing.

Hi, sorry to chime in...

I'm new to modding, and I want to start by looking for the TMC files to make mod for Rachel's Tecmo Anniversary costume (attached image) included in its DLC update pack, which I already have installed.

 

Using Timmy's Archive tool, I started looking for the corresponding files, but having trouble finding the TMCs thus far, or any resources for that particular costume. Anybody knows where I can found it? Or better, has anybody extract or made mod for it?

I didn't quite understand what you mean.

Do you have the DLC for this costume installed, but you are not able to find which file has it, so you can extract the costume in TMC format?

 

If this is the case, I got the DLC list, with their corresponding numbers, in the downloaded section below:

Thank you for replying and pointing to the costume list. Based on your list, I went ahead and open ..\DLC\755860\data\755860.bin , and what I see are TMCs for PAI_DLCU_013, SARAH_DLCU_013, and 168 unknown entries. I couldn't find any entry for RACHEL. Any idea? Btw, I'm using archive tool version 1.2.1 .

Your Archive tool is the latest version, however your file5lr.dat might not be the latest one.

In the link for the DLC list which I've posted, there is an Archive tool with this file up to date so it can read all game DLC's.

This should solve the problem, give a try and let me know.
