Skyrim crashing

If I activate a mod from my exsisting mods in my data folder, I have no problem loading and running those mods.  However If a add a mod as in install a new mod with an esp file and try to activate it, Upon running skyrim I get a "skyrim has stopped running" message.  I am at my wits end trying to solve this can anyone help?

You could share some more info u know?... unless u actualy wanted help like my...

 What Mod Manager are You using? NMM ? Vortex -> then its normal don't worry, MO2?...

 if MO2 then export Your mod list there is option for that and tell us what mods u actualy have installed...

lol, Thanks for the advice, bin using mods for more years than I care to remember,  actually made a few mods over the years. But this doesn't seem to be a mod problem. Seems to be a skyrim problem. I can't install any new mod no matter what it is.  However I came up with a workaround, if I install a new mod and rename that esp to an esp not activated in my Data folder the new mod works. The new mod may not have the original esp file name but this seems to work.
