Issue with female nipple colors (SOLVED)

Like the title says, I'm having some problems with the colors for the nips. Specifically, I can't change it from a light grey! I can tell that selecting options in the body details tab does make changes, but there's always a small grey overlay (see pic for reference), and I'm not sure what is causing it. I didn't have this problem the last time I played sims, which admittedly a little under a year ago, and I know the game has gone through several updates and some expansions since then, but I have no clue what's going on. Could someone lend me a hand? 

EDIT: Remembered there was a LL discord server, someone from there helped me resolve my problem. If you happen to have this issue yourself, make sure you don't have any mods that only work WITHOUT Wicked Whims. I had some options that were meant for non WW games installed alongside the same mods meant for WW, and that was causing the issue. Once I removed them, no more grey nip nops.

Maybe somehow those nipples are incompatible with that skin.
