thatruth25 Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 What are your favorite presets to use for photography/different projects? I've been playing around with ReShade a lot lately and it's a pretty good tool when you learn how to get certain effects to work. It really does change how the game looks and feels. Currently using PixelFlorist's Good Gardening as a gameplay preset, but I know there are many sets out there that are perfect for photos and storytelling.
Crazy Doll Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 I personnaly don't even use reshade anymore, I prefer the Gforce Filters.

brabbelbabbel Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 I'm using "GABREUX BRIGHTPRESET 1.0" by gvbesims. It is so colorful and bright ❤️ I don't know, I just love this. xD It works with GShade too.
LittleRedSonja Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 I am using Averza Icecream preset. It is not the most sophisticated, it is not what you would use for cinematic artistic screenshots, but it does what i want: Crispier and improved colors and shapes, better shadows, no blurring, no distortion, and it can be used for gameplay without issues, not only screenshots. i will take a look at Gabreux preset, it looks nice too ? 2
belial121x Posted June 15, 2023 Posted June 15, 2023 I have a question about the reshades, they only increase the color on the game or what else? and it requried a good graphic card?

Different reshade presets do different things, adding different effects. It is not only color. A standard medium quality card should be more than enough for the most part. If you can run sims 4 without issues you should not have problems. If you google reshade presets you will find not only a ton of different options to choose from, but also some reviews of the most popular presets. You can also tweak a preset to your liking, but you need to know at least a bit what you are doing to get good results (meaning Ability to read is a requirement to get good results). 1
mcromance Posted June 16, 2023 Posted June 16, 2023 Popping in with alternative to reshade, if anyone is interested. Northern siberia winds created 'BETTER IN-GAME LIGHTING MOD' to change in-game lighting. Kinda like what Luumia did with his lighting corrections but tweaked more. https://www.patreon.com/northernsiberiawinds/posts https://www.patreon.com/posts/updates-79225970 To accompany it is a 'GENTLE CAS LIGHTING MOD' https://www.patreon.com/posts/gentle-cas-mod-61063863 I am using those two, because for unknown reason, when I tried reshades my laptop was starting to heat a bit more than I would like to and get loud due to powerfull ventilators (I have a gaming one that handles Sims with lots of mods with ease).

Here you have both variants, the "ice cream" which is the one I use, and the "shine" which is a bit too bright for my taste. There are pictures comparing both with vanilla so you can see if you like it: Plumbie's CC FINDS — Hey all! This ReShade preset is made by Averza but... Krolista Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 (edited) I've taken to using a shader preset I made that just adds some FXAA and SSAO for most of my gameplay. Sometimes I'll use a tweaked version of the GM Lithium shader preset as well. I've made variants of both with different levels of DOF as well.
