I have a bunch of mods/animations from 2017/2018 would they still work?

Do you think all of the animation mods I have would still work? Or would they need to be updated?

Like LUUMIA, CMAR for bodies, LUXURE Animations and what not.

Cmar stuff is routinely updated whenever there is an official update that does stuff to sims' bodies, same with the Luumia stuff. 

 

Animations are iffy. Some of them should still work fine but others are bundled with extra content that might have not been updated yet; same with older custom sim downloads found on here.

This is the only issue.

I've never seen an animation break anything - but sometimes they have CC with them (like beds, as an example) and a bunch of items need to be batch fixed in Sims 4 Studio because they're broken if you're downloading older versions of the items... 

 

But just delete the items or batch fix them. The animations themselves should be fine.
