Skill gain REALLY slow

I'm not sure why, but, all of a sudden, my sim started gaining skills REALLY slowly. Like level 1 guitar takes like 2 days to reach level 2.  He is happy and no negative moodlets.

I removed the mod folder, and replaced each Mod back into the empty folder one by one, each time checking the progress of the skill. Every time it worked normally and would go up half a level pretty quickly until all of the mods were back in the folder... It doesn't make sense.  All the mods are back in there and it was working well for a while. maybe 3 or so in game days. Then all of a sudden it starts back again with skills gaining super slow.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I have this issue with one particular female sim in my household. She is an Easter Hare from Nisas Wicked Perversion mod but I know that isn’t it as another sim in my household also was one and she was fine skill gain wise.

I’ve looked at this char and her traits etc but can’t see anything that would slow her skills down. No idea what it is but have you looked at the LIfestyles of that particular sim?

Let me ask you both, is the sim a Pheromonal Flower? That will slow your sim's skill gains by quite a bit.

Ah! Yes! I will remove that trait and see if it works.  Thanks so much :)

Edit: OMG, YES that worked!  I've had that problem for a year now randomly appearing, never put it together that it could be a trait.  Thank you SOOOOOO much!

Blimey. Mine does yes. Off to remove it now. Thank you.
