Asari headpart

I would like to play as Asari (from Mass Effect) and need a headpart (or wig) of the asari head tentacles.

 

I found a follower mod and a NIF file in there, but I'm a total modding noob. I tried adding an armor and armature record pointing to that nif, but when I equip it I get a bald hair.

I can open the NIF in nifscope allright and it even shows me the textures.

 

The the records say slot 31 and I made sure that the nif also says slot 31. Now I'm out of ideas.

Does anyone know how to do this and could give me a hint?

 

Or even better: have a mod that adds an asari wig or head part?

 

There is an ancient mod for LE on steam but I have AE not LE and I have no idea how to download the raw files from steam.
