Did anyone here know R-Lo (Hayabusa) outside of the forum, Patreon, etc.?

I've been subbed to R-Lo on Patreon for ages, but they went dark around March of 2021 and I fear the pandemic took them.

 

Does/did anyone here know them better than just talking back and forth on forums or somesuch? Like, maybe a discord side chat, voice chat, video chat, know them IRL, whatever. I'd just like some peace of mind about this. 

 

Honestly if they're just dealing with IRL shiz, I don't care. They were a single parent and I could see this being the case. They did great work and I don't mind the extra donations during the extended lull, but I'd rather not keep pouring more money into a Patreon black hole if they're genuinely no longer with us. I doubt Patreon ever makes any effort to figure out if creators have died. I'm sure they're very happy to keep money trickling into the accounts so they can use it while waiting for it (never) to be withdrawn.

 

Pretty bummed to think such a talented creator might be gone, though.
