I can't save my game no autosaves, no quicksaves, no hard saves, nothing! in the pause menu the Save and Quicksave options are greyed out and when I try to use the console to save I get a notification in the upper left corner of the screen saying that I can't save right now. So don't even create a character after the basic installation and at least leave vault 111 and then create a save??? Or did the error with the "I can no longer save" - because the options for saving are greyed out in the menu - appear much later??? so if "save" and co are greyed out - I'm usually stuck in an animation or batch processing and when it "hangs" - then all I can do is restart my game it doesn't help that I reload the old save point - because the "disaster" is already done - so I have to load a point before or even further back
Guest Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Ok I fixed the issue the problem was for some reason it was either Pip-Boy 2000 Mk VI and/or Pip-Boy Flashlight. I've used these mods before and this never happened, neither can I find anything on either mod's bug reports but I realized the game would work fine until after receiving the pipboy so I removed both those mods and now the game is fixed. if any of you have any ideas what could have caused this and how to fix it that would be great!
catcalled2 Posted January 12, 2023 Posted January 12, 2023 Sometimes mods can interact with other mods in weird ways. Only thing to do is report to the mod authors that you experienced saving issues.
