Is it Possible to unmerge a file?

Pretty much the title, I'm trying to create sims that I can upload in 1-2 parts, but I always end up with these huge merged packages messing up my setup. Can I unmerge these file to maintain individual pieces?

Hey! Yes, you can unmerge some packages, though it doesn't work on every file. 

 

You can do this with Sims4Studio. Simply click "Content Management" and "Un-merge Package". Then choose the package you want to un-merge, choose the destination and done
