Before when I just checked in a town area I was in, it wasn't working right. In the equipment screen there was tear on the arms, the nipples and bush on Jade didn't properly show. This issue went away after I left the area, I was in.

just a bump in the hopes someone has something new. especially since nexus seems to have nuked most of the nude mods that used to be there. or im confused and mistaken about how many there were.

I am surprised no one has made any mods for Veronica that turns her into a short stack. I get the hesitation for a normal nude mod, but if she's shaped like a pear, I don't think there would be any problems.

I don't know if anyone has discussed switch modding yet but I cannot get the mods here to work.  I've checked the file structure on the switch and it appears that our path should be as follows:

01006C300E9F0000 > romFS > JackGame > Content > Paks

the game itself seems to be bundled in just two paks:

pakchunk0-Switch.pak

pakchunk1-Switch.pak

Looking at the 60 fps switch mod I saw they named the modded file pakchunk0-Switch_1_p.pak, so I thought renaming the serena mod to that exact filename and placing it in the paks folder would work, but it didnt.  Since the files were originally titled pakchunk0-WindowsNoEditor_P_xxx.pak, I doubt renaming them to pakchunk1 would help either.  Is the only path forward to unpack the two game files and repack them with the modded files?  how did the 60 fps mod get away with just adding a third pak file?

As part of a commission I recently made one for Veronica, commissioner wanted her as flat as a brick though. She got wide hips though.

Just to check, do your mods work with the rebuild mod?

I wouldn't mind checking out what mods you've made, but if it doesn't work with rebuild, then I'd probably have to skip using them...

Oh yeah I dont use that personally, didnt know normal mods were even incompatible with it. Probably means most people cant use the Jade mod either.... The one that got posted here earlier.

IIRC, I think there is a guide to help make it compatible with rebuild. I was planning on testing one of your mods later today, but I wanted to ask beforehand.

 

I noticed a lot of people already made their nsfw mods compatible with Project Rebuild, as that collection of mods raises the visual quality of large chunks of the game's assets, so it's always good to ask first before I chuck all of the mods (per character) in and cause my game to crash or visually bug out

I just realized that I did not share the guide on how for making mods compatible with rebuild:

Creating mods for Project Rebuild:

  • The .pak file provided as part of this mod can be unpacked using QuickBMS included in the dq11s-tools-pack available on the DQXI Modding Discord, to show the names and locations of all textures used in this mod.
  • ALL texture mods designed for the original game's characters should be compatible with this mod after conversion.
  • Any new character texture mods should be designed in the same way as for the original game, since the character models and UVs are identical.
  • Most textures are in the same location file location as the original game, but many have had to have their names changed and shortened to be compatible. For example, T_P001_Wear_BodyE001_CS01 becomes T_P001_WearBE001_CS01. Please check in the .pak for the required names and locations.
  • With the new file names and locations known, textures should be cooked following the guide provided here: https://sites.google.com/view/dqxi-commands/tutorials/creating-mods
  • _C textures must be cooked with compression setting: BC7, SRGB: True, and Never Stream: True.
  • _N textures must be cooked with compression setting: Normalmap (BC5), SRGB: False, and Never Stream: True.
  • _P textures must be cooked with compression setting: BC7, SRGB: False, and Never Stream: True.
  • Mods can either be released as a folder of .uasset files for use with DQXIS-SDK, or as a .pak file. If released as a .pak file, the file must be named such that it sorts further down alphabetically than this mod's .pak file, otherwise it will not load.
  • Making mods compatible with the Nintendo Swotch release requires further steps. Please ask in the DQXI Modding Discord for help.
  • If you're stuck, ask in the DQXI Modding Discord for help.
