Hello, I'm trying to get Defeat and Shadow of Skyrim to work nice together. I'm a bit worried about Shadow's defeat system conflicting with Defeat itself. Any suggestions to what settings to have on and off so that both work well together? I haven't really seen anyone talking about Shadow mixing with defeat mods on here so I'm kind of lost.

Don't have Shadow installed AT to check, but IIRC you need to set Shadow to use animation for bleedout and Defeat to make essential on bleedout. And maybe turn off the other ways to get defeated in Defeat since they wont trigger Shadow.

With it set up this way, when your health gets too low Shadow kicks in and gives you a debuff and then it leaves you in bleedout for Defeat to do its thing.

You should be able to set up item drop chances and consequences however you want, but obviously you need to turn off death alternative from Shadow or you'll get teleported away before Defeat can trigger.

Cool, I figured this out yesterday while messing around with it. Glad I could get shadow to work with it, since the nemesis and debuff system seems really cool.
