Racemenu problem : sliders absent or not working.

Recommended Posts

Hi

I installed racemneu and ece sliders... and some sliders ar emissing, like the ears shape.

Breast sliders simply don't work at all.

I have Anniversary edition downgraded with the famous patch.

SKSE 2.0.3 (the lasr SSE SKSE, not the anniversary one).

The last racemenu version.

Thx in advance.

So SkyrimSE.exe was downgraded to 1.5.97.

SKSE for 1.5.97 is 2.0.20.

Last RM versions are for the latest game and SKSE versions. It's right there in the file info when you go to download it:

You need RM 0.4.16, which was the last RM release before any of the AE updates.

The same applies to any mod with a skse plugin (dll file). You need to get correct version for the game executable and SKSE release you have installed.

Just Don't knows lots.  His tutorials and guides are fantastic.

The correct version of any and every mod you install is paramount.  Read, read, read...

Versions aside though, if you ever have an issue with RM sliders not showing up again, after confirming versions, try just naming and creating the character as is, then ~ showracemenu again.
Sometimes things won't load until you exit character creation.

Pfiffy would be that guy....lol  He ports everything...lol

Also, I did see your post count and that you are a contributor.  Could have been a different game, right? :P

I'm not an author, nor some really smart mod guru.  Just trying to help.

RM is an asshole sometimes - that I know. :P

Yeah, I'm not known for making or porting stuff either. The resources linked in the SE compat. tracking post would be a nice starting point (it's one of the first spoilers "Converting Oldrim Files"). I've used CAO in the past and it's enough to unpack BSA and optimize textures and meshes (although people still recommend to use SSE nif optimizer for nif files). And of course you can't go wrong if you ask for advice from known porters. GL and have fun (remember to disable automatic/background updates on Steam or a new patch might mess your game/mods in the near future, as long as you do that and keep an eye when installing mods with a dll you'll be fine).
