New to Fallout, looking for Mod Recommendations

Hello, I just recently bought Fallout4 and am looking for recommendations for Mods...at this time Graphics, Bug Fixes, Patches, Game play and Character creation, such as bodies, skin, eyes, hair, etc...

Buffout, High FPS fix, Crafting Highlight Fix, Faster Workshop, Canary Save File Monitor, Fixed Alpha Maps, Underwater Car Glass Fix, Wetness Shader Fix, Fixed Gobo Effects, ESP Explorer, Place Everywhere, MCM Booster + MCM Categorizer, Automatic Rate of Fire Sound Fix, No More Glowing Mouths, Weston Water LOD, Weapon Debris Crash Fix (Nvidia GPU), Anti Turret Syndrome, Elevator Buttons Fix, Personal Vertibird Flight Altitude Fix, Molerats & Radscorpions Tunneling in Cells Bug Fix, Sanctuary Roof Navmesh Edit, Workshop Framework, FallUI, Transfer Settlements (if you build).

 

Those are some mostly bugfixes, and ease of sanity mods. Everything else you asked for is up to flavor. Also please don't use the official HD DLC it's TRASH.

This was my first new game in almost 20 years

 

looksmenu compendium you will enjoy presets and also a huge array of hairdo hair color eye color and makeup choices. ( assuming you from your screename are going with a female character)

 

You need a mod manager like

-Vortex which should be your first download.

-Then F4SE which drives the mods on your machine

Once these 2 are installed you want unoffial patch and buffout 4 ( performance improver of the game, )

And now you are ready to go.

 

If you want to play as a realistic female subjected to all sorts of erotic adventures (or rather misadventures given realism in the wasteland)

you need to download the animation packs and AAF hereon loverslab.

 

Erotic modifications being a specialty of this website.

 

 

Then you can go to erotic specific mods.

 

 

 

 

As a complete newbie it took me entire weakends to make these work but it was well worth it.

I had not experience with modern gaming at all.

 

But you can also start with simpler mods and download  a lighter touch ( but you still need vortex and F4SE and buffout 4 and unoffical patch)

 I did not dare to go full animations with AAF at first as I was new t modding.

 

I started out with this collection (a few of the mods in there are no loner current though as I found this summer)

Male character actually   ...if I'm going to spend hours staring at someones butt (motion sickness in 1st person, so always 3rd), I'd rather gratify my inner perv by staring at a man's arse ...Thank you ...I am an old hand at modding Skyrim (for the last 10 years) and am hoping modding Fallout will be mostly very similar, just don't know what's out there in the modding world for Fallout4, thank you so much for the links, I will be putting a number of them to good use

There are a great many mods that could be recommended - it's easy to overload your system

I would like to draw attention to quest mods - which, in my opinion, complement the very incomplete and sometimes confusing plot (especially the main quest) and offer interesting alternatives to the solution:

Yes - you can play all three at the same time - but that becomes quite challenging - because each of the three queens has its own special features.
If you are planning to play through more than one Fallout anyway, my recommendation would be -> activate only one of the three mods for each run

Something very special and also very demanding - far away from the usual companions
Here, too, my recommendation - separate playthrough - because otherwise you get bogged down massively and so the (possibly desired) good ending does not come here

I too started with Skyrim SE modding before Fallout 4, and the later is far more forgiving when adding or removing mods than Skyrim is.
