AdagioShinkz Posted November 29, 2022 Posted November 29, 2022 ive gotten completely tired of things not working, especially any kind of SOS as ive gotten most other things to work BUT that. what is the best version to downgrade to? mine is currently at the most recent version of AE. i just want most if not all mods i decide to use to be compatible with the game. SOS for example people have put none dll versions out but none of those work either. so i need a version of the game where the dll is going to work.
aurreth Posted November 29, 2022 Posted November 29, 2022 The SOS AE no DLL Needed does work. I installed it yesterday and it gave me fits, until I noticed that one plugin was not enabled, "SOSRaceMenu.esp". Apparently there's a flaw in the installer and this isn't being enabled by default. Enable that and SOS will now appear in MCM and everything will function.

I just reinstalled Skyrim from scratch and even "knowing how" it still took me several days to get a basic mod list. But everything works with AE these days, you just have to pay careful attention to version numbers. And LoversLab mods tend to require a lot of tweaking in the mod configuration menu even after getting them installed. Just go slow, you aren't going to get your perfect setup in an hour or two.
