Help with Sexlab on SE vs AE?

So, I've managed to get most mods running, but came into an issue I am unsure about how to solve and was wondering if anyone here had advice. 

I have the SE of Skyrim, but it is on version 1.6, which from what I read, is the AE of Skyrim. So, I've downloaded Sexlab for SE, but it tells me the SexlabUtil dll file isn't in the right place. (Which I checked, it is.) So, I did some testing, realized I'm on version 1.6, and that's the AE edition, no problem, so I redownloaded the library address mod, and Sexlab for AE, but then when I ran that, it says those files weren't compatible and the DLL's weren't being ready. So, for someone using a SE version of skyrim, (Version 1.6.640) what would be the best option for modding? Should I get the AE upgrade or any tips to make things work with SE? Any tips would be appreciated.
