Half-Dragon Race 1.4 Update?

So I used this mod extensively back on 1.3, but the author has made it clear they have no intentions of updating it to the current patch. From the steam comments, they seem open to someone else taking up the torch of maintaining it. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2556121262

 

I don't have the modding skills to maintain it, so I thought I'd bring it up here and see if I can either get some help with updating it or someone else willing to put the effort in.
