Wearing a mishmash power armor with raider parts

it is significantly upgraded repainted and it has one T51e left arm ( (best place for it since left arms seem to break the fastest for me)m both raider legs, a raider right arm and a T45e torso with a T45e helmet.

Protection shields are just over 1000 total so better even than an unmodified T51.

 

BUT, it seems the DC security guards which often make respectful remarks "power armor only way to travel", "your not afraid of mutants , you are our kind of" (after I help with shooting at mutants), "nice armor!"

 

well, they now say nothing like that.

 

Could it be my 3 raider parts making me suspicious to these NPCs?

At the crafting station I changed the "mesh" for the raiders parts , both legs and the one arm, to T45.

I thought this was fair since upgraded they actually exceed basic T45.

But the NPCS might not get fooled and think of me as a person possibly with raider ties and so treat me with less respect?

Walked through DC with "proper" power armor and seem to get more respect from the DC guards.

Hard to say if this is by chance or not.

playing guy hero type.

 

as female with all the proper mods installed the DC security treat you with no respect and worse especially if you been raider petted before ( how would they even know?!)
