Particular SMP clothing article causes SMP to constantly restart

Hello,

 

I noticed some strange behaviour when using one particular SMP skirt on an NPC - smp would constantly reset for it. Every couple seconds all meshes with smp in them would reset to their default stiff position. This does not occurs only for the NPC wearing the skirt. I imagine there could be loads of reasons for that, but could anyone provide hints for steps I can take to look into things? I am not super good at analyzing the SMP XML files.

What does the smp log have to say about this?

Nothing at all, just shows the standard entries for the skeletons of the PC and the NPC's that are around. Anyway I went ham on the xml configuration and left only what I understand to be the basic necessary stuff, and the problem appears to be gone (unfortunately the physics look quite inferior too, but oh well).
