Wulfaaaa Posted November 19, 2022 Posted November 19, 2022 Hi everyone, the racemenu tattoos always disappear when seen underwater, and disappear at some angles when under transparent clothes. The only fix I know is mingling with this option file in skee64.ini (in racemenu files) : [Overlays/Data] ; Assigns these alpha properties to all overlays when they are applied ; 4844, 128 is recommended for solid overlays (they will render correctly underwater) ; Changing the overlay's alpha value ingame acts like 4845 regardless of assigned flags iAlphaFlags=4844 ; Default[4845] iAlphaThreshold=128 ; Default[0] Default = (4845,0) Recommended for seeing under transparent textures = (4844,128) The problem is when I set iAlphaFlags=4844, the textures of the tattoos get too bold, or sometimes is erased at some places of the tattoo. In other words, iAlphaFlags=4844 just makes things worse. It's been years since I've been looking for a solution, either on Oldrim and now for SSE, and I have never found any kind of working solution fixing this issue. What is today's state of the art for this issue ? Do SlaveTats works better and don't have this problem ?
MohanOddBall Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 Bump, been trying to fix this for years
traison Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 (edited) Pretty sure there was a fix (or workaround) for this in LE but I can't find it anymore. As far as I know it's an engine limitation, so ENB is probably your best bet. Maybe one of it's thousands of options does it. Edit: Oh, found it. It's obviously for LE, and is probably different as it may not have anything to do with overlays specifically. I have a feeling the issue is similar in nature however.
