I'm not really sure. I've been at it a few more hours now and wandering around in game. I went to the College and there's purple people everywhere. Looks like it is fairly common in non-human with some humans also. It is definitely feels like a skin texture issue as all equipment is showing up in game properly. Some people at the college actually had purple faces too.

I was going to just play it with the occasional purple hand here and there but getting full purple characters at the college is a fat GG.

I rebuilt arms and hands. Clothed and naked. I rebuilt male and female clothed and naked. Nothing is fixing it.

Anyways, seriously crazy work OP I cant believe someone took all the time to get it working and list in order then help people that needed it. Insane work, well done.

Possibly missing or not registering tattoos or warpaint as well, they can both do the same thing.

This is off the top of my head, and could well be outdated now, since its been months since I looked at P+. And its now where near exhaustive. And there may be patches or fixes for any of these as well.

DDNG has been just generally better, in my experience. Native OAR animations, updates to (some) chains and the addition of HDT to some items. More animations.

Deviously Enchanted Chests provides a trapped chests system similar to that from DCL, if you want to keep getting caught by that.

if you are getting purple texture problems like that on other npcs could it be a problem of race mods ? not configured right in body slide? or a skin that is not configured right ? and some skins required a legacy setting to be checked cant remember which one. Funny i build the body 3ba. But i never build arms or feet or any individual body parts could that be the issue? You might be overwriteing the body in body slide? getting a purple gibberish as an end product?

If you installed the Sons of Skyrim 3BA Unibody Conversion be aware that it replaces the plugin (NW_Sons_of_Skyrim,esp) and that it has not been updated to v2.0 of Sons of Skyrim. The most recent TGC Winterhold patches are for v2.0 of SoS.

The Sons of Skyrim HIMBO bodyslide page now has 3BA bodyslides for v2.0

Yeah, BugThesda decided to break everyone's FO4 mods with a pointless update that:

1. Has no benefit for PC users.
2. Even on console - who the update was intended for - does not function correctly.

Luckily I had my FO4 set to manual updates - Deleted FO steam manifest file and was able to not update. Will be keeping steam in offline mode for a while.

i'm experiencing crashes when switching to female at character creation;

i tried this mod out however, which starts the character creation out set to female nord, and i seem to be able to play the rest of the game just fine with no issues. i can also switch to fem argonian and khajit without crashing, but even with that mod, switching to the human or elf races as female crashes me.

does anyone have any suggestions? i was testing after every section, and everything was working fine until the last 'final' section,

edit: i changed the plugin i linked to start me as the race i was planning on playing and that also seems to work? i'm not sure what the actual issue is, google seems to think it might be a 'too many hair options' or a RAM issue but i'm not going to mess around with it.

i think the only changes i made between having issues and not having issues was running dyndolod and disabling the dyndolod files the guide told me to disable, but i'm not sure why that would be messing with character creation.

thanks! when i was going through the modlist i noticed that one of the RBT patches was missing and there was a RSV patch instead, so i tried swapping over, guess i missed something though

@Samson21 as you're going through the modlist, the author will occasionally tell you to go and install one of them

Just follow the guide. the files show up in there when they are needed.

You only have to download and activate them. So no need for special steps to get them working.

edit: i changed the plugin i linked to start me as the race i was planning on playing and that also seems to work? i'm not sure what the actual issue is, google seems to think it might be a 'too many hair options' or a RAM issue but i'm not going to mess around with it.

i think the only changes i made between having issues and not having issues was running dyndolod and disabling the dyndolod files the guide told me to disable, but i'm not sure why that would be messing with character creation.

forgot about the crash logger thing, attached that if anyone knows how to read it.

went back and disabled all mods section by section until i got to high poly heads and just having that active causes crashes when i swap the females to the high poly head part. not sure how i managed that one, maybe when i went to to the vampire fix part later on down the guide, i did it wrong. reinstalled it and now it works again

Hi, I seem to finally have everything working up to character creation but whenever the selected character breathes in and her shoulders lift I get a weird rift/seam without texture between her neck and her torso.
Does anyone know how I can fix this?

One of the guide mods brings its own body meshes and make OBody not works when nude. Look to the OBody troubleshooting for possible solutions

The mods I found with their own body meshes were Aumriel, NITHI NPC Dawnguard DLC and Valga. I'm gonna try to edit them edit to say how it went.

Edit : I really can't find how to use SSEEdit to refer to the good meshe. Sorry

It's probably V's Cut. When you build everything in Bodyslide, V's wants to build it's own head mesh, which can conflict if you want to use something else. Toss that shit. Toss it hard. If you did a batch build in Bodyslide, look in Windows Explorer in the empty mod for the output. In the meshes folder, see if you have a folder labeled "KL." If so, that's what's doing it. Delete it and it should work fine. I struggled with this shit for way too long.

It usually helps when you change the weight and then change it back to the original value.
