can't move with tfc enabled

so when the new game starts, i can tfc in third person and move just fine, but about 20-30 seconds in, i can't move at all during it. so i can't move during animations either. i'm sure the solve is something simple, i just can't figure out what ?

i've reinstalled nx 19 and all the tfc settings in mcm is checked so idk what to do now; please help
