Sexlab Defeat cannot surrender to creatures

I have installed Defeat and all the requirements, got animations and ran everything through. When I try pressing K it simply says that I can't surrender to this enemy, tried on trolls, wolves..  all sorts of creatures. I surrender to humans without any issues though

Sorry if you've done it already, but... check if you have creature animations enabled in the main SexLab MCM?
