WickedWhims Do_Not_Delete sims in my house

I remove the mod out of my folder when I am finished with it, and when I removed it, all of these random sims with the name "WickedWhims Do_Not_Delete" keep appearing at every start up in every save file. Is this a programmed punishment for taking it out of my mods folder? How do I get it to stop? It doesn't go away unless I put the mod back in the folder. I still plan on using it, but I don't keep it in all the time because I sometimes play the sims with my friends, and I don't want them seeing my sims fucking lmao. I have tried emptying my mods folder and pretty much every normal solution. I don't know what to do. Help!

try this: from the path documents/mygame/electronic arts/the sims4
remove the localthumbcache file, you should solve the problem
