Only naked during scenes?

Hi guys,

 

Is it possible to make so your character is only fully naked during sex scenes (underwear) so that normal unclothed shows underwear?
I'm trying to enjoy the breakable equipment mod in the game but it feels kind of odd for me to just "delete" the armor off the enemies (or myself) after a few hits, I would prefer that the mod would add "cuts" or "tearing" onto the armor textures so much before actually removing the armor, but I'm hoping maybe a hybrid nude body system would make it a bit more immersive at least.

First question, naked only during scenes, I don't know.  I'm not aware of a mod that would do that but maybe someone else knows of one. 

 

The second point, on the breakable armor and equipment:  many people have mentioned such a system, the problem is it would be insanely difficult to create.

 

You would need many, many versions of the same armor with slight alternations.  The armor packs alone would take a massive amount of storage.

 

You would also need a system to map hits and damage to the armor.  That would be a large mod and complicated mod just by itself.  It would probably need another mod on top of that just to deal with collision detection, which I believe there are several attempts that this but I have never bothered to look into it. 

 

And lastly you would need a mod to manage changing equipment instantly, without player input, in the middle of combat.  The combinations of all the scripts and everything running at once would probably crash many games, or at least get your frame rate really, really low for the vast majority of users.  And people would probably complain about immersion breaking because how the armor changes would likely look in the middle of battle (parts of armor just "disappearing" seconds after the hit as the game tries to read the mods which are trying to determine collisions, armor replacers, and all kinds of other things). 

 

Long story short, I just don't believe Skyrim's game engine can really do that in the way people would want it to look. 

 

I'm sure it could technically be done if someone took a year or two to do it, but it I doubt it would look the way people want it due to technical limitations - at least that's my guess. 

 

I know Sun Jeong has some armors that have "normal" and "damaged" versions, and I'm sure there are other outfit mod makers who have damaged versions as well.  You can change between them yourself in the inventory to role play it in your head.  But an automated system based on mods isn't something I think will happen anytime soon.

Fairly certain SexLab still has the nude suit feature right? You could use that to switch to a naked body for scenes. It's in the MCM if it still has it, as for the mesh paths, those you'll have to look up. Building that naked body in BodySlide is going to require some fiddling: you'll have to copy the meshes it generates, and replace the nude suit ones yourself.

Edit again: Just because the ARMO records only point at the _1 nifs does not mean it doesn't support the usual _0 _1 sceme, don't worry about that.

Thanks for the replies guys, I'm defenitly gonna see if using my current body for the SexLab nude option and use Underwear body to see if it all works

 Worked perfectly thank you, was able to move a nude body over and used the _0 and _1, just having trouble getting the NNude to actually show the underwear now lol

you could go the nude suit way or download an equipable underwear mod and use a normal nude body replacer

I feel like the Breakable Equipment mod would include the underwear from that mod, in that case it wouldn't suit me.
