As I said in the title after the quest Rising At Dawn all the fancy reflections off my character disappear permanently. Quitting to the main menu and loading a save does not help. Vortex Lord Posted October 22, 2022 Author Posted October 22, 2022 No ENB, this is vanilla shaders. I also forgot to mention my SKSE64 version is v2.2.3. I do use the Demoniac skin which is quite shiny, no Soaking Wet.
traison Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 Went through the vanilla quest and its script but I can't see it doing anything weird. I can only see a couple of things that could be problematic here, one is that it obviously changes your race, and secondly maybe you have a vampire mod. Typically opening RaceMenu once resets things related to race issues, another thing that will shake things back into place is typing the sexchange command twice. As for the potential mod conflict issue, maybe inspect these objects: .\Scripts\QF_VC01_0005C625.pex .\Scripts\PlayerVampireQuestScript.pex [00] Skyrim.esm (7CAB85A9) \ Quest \ 0005C625 <VC01>
Vortex Lord Posted October 24, 2022 Author Posted October 24, 2022 Going to the racemenu fixed it. The only vampire mod I have is Seranaholic and the effect was the same with or without it. I also forgot to mention that my character goes invisible briefly after the ritual is complete but comes back without specular maps after a while and the fadeout of my character when the camera gets too close does not work too but I can live with that as long as I have my shiny specular maps. Thanks a lot though. I really appreciate it and I hope I didn't waste your time.
