Restaurant lot type missing

Like the title says. I was trying to remove the library to turn it into a restaurant as this town is missing one, and out of all the lot types listed, restaurant lot type is not one of them. I read online that it's probably mod-related, but the only mods I have are WW and Basemental drugs

Sounds like a mod is messing with your "venue" list.

You may try searching your mod folder for the word venue.

Note: Basemental has venues (rave) so it should have a file...

If nothing comes up for venue (common ones are Basemental. Ksuhui (I think thats how its spelled) and Little Ms Sams.

Little Ms Sams has *ALL* venue types so you only need that file if you're using her mod.

If nothing with the word venue is in your cc folder then i'd use the 50/50 method to remove CC and figure out whats causing it.

Hi, thx for the reply. No venue came up in the mod folder. I looked at Ms Sams, the only venue option requires the Get to Work, DLC, well, it says "partly" Guess I'll give that a try.

P.S. CC folder?

Sounds like it's caused by broken Customer Content/Mods.

If you downloaded anything recently, try moving it out of the folder.

Go to C:\Users\username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods (or where ever your mods are installed) and remove half of your CC (Customer Content) or mods. Start the game up and see if Resturants are there.

If not, remove another half. Repeat until the option shows up. Make sure to keep track of what you've moved in and out.

That should help you find the mod that is causing it. When I looked online some people had said Zerbu's mod did this to them but that was a long time ago.
