Right now there is no real mod tools so loading should go smoothly..

when i used google chrome instead of internet explorer it loaded much faster

I have grabbed a few mods to check out. There was only 1 that I had to reload the page a time or 2 to get it to go with chrome. I think it's possibly a bit of both issues. most likely a few bugs here and there but mostly the servers are probably swamped with visitors and such.

I have had no probs with Nexus, but UESP and the official forums are slow or fail to load most of the time for me.

Site may not be down. I checked and there seem to be dns issues. My isp is timing out trying to contact the authoritative dns servers for the site.

Could be Nexus's isp is having issues with the volume of hits on their servers?

 

If so that's nasty as they have servers on both sides of the Atlantic!

I use openDNS, and even using the numerics, it times out. The servers just seem to be plain out overloaded with people, a good old fashioned home-brewed DoS.

If it's still happening when I get back in work (13 hours) I'll check it out thoroughly. Lots of facilities at work to use and check what's what.
