Can't send flirty texts with WW installed

When I have WW running (latest version), my sims can't send flirty texts when they've got a bunch of flirty moodlets; they just wave their hand around and give a "?" thought bubble (see attached). When I remove WW from my mods folder and load the same game, I can send flirty texts no problem. Never had this issue before. Is this issue related to the High School Years updated? And/or is there a new setting I need to enable flirty texts somewhere that I missed?
